Done in 1990, this was one of the first illustrations I created using a software program called "Lumena" (similar to Fractal Design's Painter program). This portrait was challenging because I used only a Summagraphics tablet, not a pressure sensitive Wacom tablet. The Wacom tablet makes it much easier to get specific effects.
